Curation is a superpower here as both sides of the vote benefit. I would encourage people to use their HP themselves even if they automate it. By all means follow the trail of someone you trust to vote well. It should not just be about following the big accounts and you may even earn better by not doing that as you are competing with many others.

Curation as a super power, that's a nice way to say it. But I agree it isnquite unique that both authors as curators profit from it.
I also agree that people should use their curation powers wisely.
Following popular trails would result in more rewards to the sane group of people.
Manual curation, delegsting parts toncuration projects or following smaller trails would be better I think.
