RE: Some random cat portrait for a Saturday!
Actually we never know unless we count them! 😁
We should be around 10 now, but even though this is in a big city the area around is like a plantation, so some end up as snake or monitor lizard food unfortunately...
Then some leave because they feel it is too crowded, and a couple trusted the rottweilers next door far too much.
The upside is of course that they get to lead natural lives with a lot of freedom, we keep them indoor for a day or two through the night only when someone complains, so max a couple of times a month.
Its been interesting to see the past months, I do wonder if this flock learning that can occur is taking place: even young, new cats now seem to be much more careful, even before meeting any real dangers!
There is so much to learn about cat psychology too, especially in groups, when I have the opportunity I spend quite a bit of time recently to keep both Charcoal and Tiger here, they leave now and then to be alone or together with some other, probably male cat, but then they also come back 🙂
All of them are among the best people I've met! Its just odd that they are furry with 4 legs haha
