I fall for the fact that you found, against all expectation, Piazza dei Signori and the Palazzo dei Trecento, which houses so much history and significance. It must have been such powerful symbolism to see The Independence Monument positioned right in the heart of town-a complete immersion into what defines, in a way, how one culture honors its past from another perspective!.
