The last edition of the Hive Power Up Month challenge is now over. Once again, this challenge has proven how difficult it is to stay committed for a whole month, even with rules as simple as:
- do a power-up of at least 1 HIVE or a 100% Hive Power post every day of the month
- do not powerdown

Some stats about the challenge
Since a few months, we see a renewed interest in participating in Power Up Month. Each month, many wish to take part in the challenge but few are those who hold out until the end. This is what gives all the value to the badge they receive and justifies the delegation of Hive Power that we give them.
For the September edition, with have 53 winners. Congratulations to all of them.
Let's compare the number of winners month by month.

Among the 53 participants to have held on without failing, we have 19 users who chose the publication with a 100% HP payout option, and 34 users who preferred the power-up way.

Hive Power delegations coming!
As announced in our announcement post, all the winners of the PUM challenge will receive a 3 weeks Hive Power delegation from us!
The amount of HP delegated will be calculated according to the following criteria:
- How many successful Power Up Months you have achieved throughout the year.
- The total amount you powered up during the PUM.
- How many PUDs in a row have you participated in
- The levels of your power-ups on PUD (ex: you made two "level 3" and three "level 5" power-ups).
- The number of people you helped to power-up and the amount involved.
The higher all the above-mentioned values, the higher the delegation you will receive.
We still need to do some math to figure out what everyone will get but don't worry, we'll report the results soon.
Everyone who participates in Power Up Day today is already registered for this new edition of the Power Up Month!

I'm pretty sure this month's HPUM is bugged. 😅 I definitely made a fully powered post everyday OR powered up at least 1 HIVE.

Congratulations to all the winners, although I am 100% sure there should be many more of them. Some glitch must have happened and I hope it will be fixed, as I powered up every day in September, as well as many others and this was meant to be my big come back to PUM after 6 months 🙈

Just like everybody else, I will repeat, something went wrong! I am pretty sure I should be in the list as I powered up 100% at least one post a day. And that is confirmed by the first graph clearly not possible: the number of eligible participants should always decrease, not go back up. Hopefully you're able to fix it soon.

Now that you said about the graph… you are right - is should never go back up, only down. I haven’t noticed this before, as pics not always are showing for me. Something is definitely off and it started already at the beginning of this month. Maybe @arcange could have a look at the script?

Since many are showing the issue, I just drop here two screens of my overview page. For the month August I powered up everyday and never powered down. Somehow the overview pages showed daily powerdowns which never took place. I never got the badge or delegation either :(

Regarding August PUM, you started a powerdown on August 1st (click here to view the transaction),
Even if you stopped it right after, that was enough to see you filtered out. We now need to check (and fix) why it displays it on each day of the month.
Regarding September PUM, we fixed it.
Update: the August PUM issue has been fixed and the badge was attributed to you. We also updated the PUM rules and info to make them clearer.
