I Discovered While Using Frontier Mode in Splinterlands
One of the most well-liked blockchain-based card games right now Splinterlands. The most intriguing feature this game is that you can design your own strong deck gathering various cards in addition having fun while playing. I recently got some new cards while playing Frontier mode, and I will share that experience with you today in simple language.
What is Frontier mode?
First, let's talk a little about Frontier mode. Frontier mode is a game mode where you can explore the game in a new way. It is usually played by new or intermediate level players. By playing in this mode, you can gradually improve your strategy and collect new cards.
When I started playing Frontier mode, my goal was to collect new cards and make my deck stronger.
The excitement of opening cards
Opening card packs is one most exciting parts Splinterlands. Every time I click the Flip All button, it feels like opening a lottery! Each card has new possibilities.
This time cards I got by opening a few packs are really great. Some cards are very powerful, while others can turn game around if used strategically.
The cards I got
Now I'm talking about the cards I got one by one—
- Hungry Ulund
This card is as fun to look at as it is effective to use. It is an Ulund type card.
Can be fielded at a low cost
Medium attack power
Very effective in low-level matches
I usually use this card early on, so that I can quickly take board control.
- Black Widow
I found this card the most interesting.
Skitterkin type
Ability to weaken the opponent
Gives a big advantage in the game if used strategically
I like to use this card in the mid-game, because then its effect is more visible.
- Vicious Quillium
This is a Rare card, which is really a matter of luck to get.
Strong defense
Good support role
Can last a long time
This card has taken up an important place in my deck.
- New Beluroc Aegis
This card looks like a warrior.
High defense
Can be used as a strong tank
Works well when placed in the front line
I usually place it in the front line, so that other cards are protected.
- Dire Bear
This card is really scary!
Huge attack power
Good to put in late
Can turn the match alone
I use this card in the late game, when the opponent is weak.
- Mad Gearhead
This Goblin card is very unique.
Fast attack
Available at low cost
Can deal fast damage
It is very effective in short matches.
- Marlai Singariel
This Rare card is very special to me.

I use this card in special matches.
- Sturdy Axe Warden
This Dwarf card is very powerful.

This is one of the most special cards I have found.

- Medium defense
- Works well in fast matches
- Port Guardian
This card is a very strong defensive card.
- Good shield
- Lasts a long time
- Supports the team
My gameplay experience
After getting these cards, my gameplay has improved a lot. Where I used to lose easily before, now I can compete well.

Why is Frontier mode important
Frontier mode is a great place for beginners.
It's easy to learn
There is less pressure
There are more opportunities to get new cards
I personally like this mode a lot.
My feelings
I am really happy after getting these cards. Especially the experience getting Gold cards was amazing.
The game has now become not just a game for me but a hobby. I get opportunity learn something new every day.
