I agree it is a shame hive gets little notice on web 2.0 I think it is the biggest part of the puzzle in regards to marketing that is yet to be worked out.

Anyway, I've been somewhat sporadic posting on Hive over the last 18 months, but I'm posting more consitently now with a month of poems self-challenge underway at the moment. It will be nice for a chance at some ocdb votes, but I'm doing this mainly just to get back into the loop and follow/find some new hive folks on twitter.

Personally, I am not a very big fan of follow for follow. I feel it's irrelevant in the long run, as this same accounts won't engage tweets or anything. They just follow for the numbers I guess. (Speaking from experience).

Because it is not genuine. If someone finds someone else's content interesting, then they do not need to be asked to follow. They will follow anyway, and that is genuine.

I also saw these "I follow you, follow me back" people over the years. Most of them disappeared over time. Actually I do not even see them nowadays, so all of them disappeared.

Weird - I could've sworn I had a CMC account (that's how I check the Hive price for the 1st every month for the HivePUD stats), but looks like I didn't. Fixed now - thanks for the brain nudge. And already following the other two.

I would also like to add that anyone on Twitter that uses the tag #HiveBlogShare or @hiveblogshare will more than likely get a ❤️ & RT from me. However, now that so many people are tweeting, I am getting a bit more picky in my choices and lean more towards sharing those who also share tweets from other Hive content creators.

Also using "good" tags related to your content in your Tweets (like #photography #vlogger #writing etc), and not just Hive-specific hashtags/users (seriously people, please stop tagging whales/dolphins/random Hivers on Twitter thinking you'll get upvotes - in my experience it actually lowers your chances) will also help get the eyes of the Twitter Posh curators on your content.
