Buenas noches amigos, hace poco vi un maquillaje realizado con trozos de algo parecido al vidrio y quise hacer uno similar pero utilizando CD’s la verdad es que en mi mente se veía maravilloso pero sinceramente el resultado final para mi fue un completo FAIL jajaja, la única fotografía que me gusto fue la que justamente estoy utilizando para portada de este post, lo demás lo odie demasiado, el proceso fue sencillo y al mismo tiempo tan complicado, los trozos de cd no se pegaron muy bien y algunos no encajaban bien en mi rostro, no podía rendirme ya que me llevo mucha pintura y no quería desperdiciarla pero sinceramente no volveré a hacer un experimento asi jamás.

Good evening friends, recently I saw a makeup done with pieces of something similar to glass and I wanted to do a similar one but using CD's the truth is that in my mind it looked wonderful but honestly the end result for me was a complete FAIL hahaha, the only picture I liked was the one I'm using for the cover of this post, the rest I hated it too much, the process was simple and at the same time so complicated, the CD's pieces didn't stick very well and some didn't fit well in my face, I couldn't give up because I took a lot of body paint and I didn't want to waste it but honestly I will never do an experiment like this again.

Comencé muy optimista, pintando primero mi pecho con pintura corporal negra y luego selle con polvo traslucido, después aplique pintura plateada en mi rostro y esta no la pude sellar porque perdería el brillo metálico, esto fue un inconveniente para mi ya que me molestaba mucho la textura de crema que deja esta pintura corporal, además siento que mi rostro se veía grasoso pero era el efecto de la pintura plateada, después tome sombra de ojos negra y maquille mis ojos pero no pude difuminar como quería por culpa de la pintura plateada.

I started very optimistic, painting first my chest with black body paint and then seal with translucent powder, then I applied silver paint on my face and this I could not seal it because it would lose the metallic sheen, this was a drawback for me because I was very annoyed by the cream texture that leaves this body paint, also I feel that my face looked greasy but it was the effect of the silver paint, then I took black eye shadow and made up my eyes but I could not blur as I wanted because of the silver paint.

Luego comenzó lo que para mi seria la parte mas divertida y termino siendo un infierno, tome trozos de CD’s que recorte previamente en figuras random y las pegue en mi rostro utilice pegamento de pestañas para poder pegar cada pieza, sin embargo, fue algo complicado mantener cada pieza en su lugar, supongo que la textura de la pintura en crema no dejaba pegar bien cada pieza, la pega que utilice es bastante buena y ver que estas piezas quedaban colgando era bastante extraño, aun asi logre terminar de pegarlas todas y finalice pintando mis labios de negro, realmente lo imagine mas bonito y para mi, luce horrible.

Then began what for me would be the most fun part and ended up being hell, I took pieces of CD's that I previously cut into random shapes and glued them on my face, I used eyelashes glue to glue each piece, however, it was a little complicated to keep each piece in place, I guess the texture of the cream paint didn't let each piece stick well, the glue I used is pretty good and to see that these pieces were hanging was quite strange, even so I managed to finish gluing them all and I finished painting my lips in black, I really imagined it prettier and to me, it looks horrible.

Tome demasiadas fotografías y solo una me gusto, además de eso, la peluca que me coloque fue un obstáculo enorme para cada pieza de mi rostro, se enredaba en el cabello y las hacia caer, no puedo negar que me encanta los colores que reflejan los CD ya que se ve holográfico pero siento que no hubo una armonía en la manera que pegue cada una de ellas, me siento algo triste por el resultado pero a veces es bueno experimentar y saber que errores no cometer para la próxima.

I took too many pictures and only one I liked, besides that, the wig I put on was a huge obstacle for each piece of my face, it got tangled in my hair and made them fall, I can not deny that I love the colors that reflect the CD's as it looks holographic but I feel that there was no harmony in the way I glued each of them, I feel a little sad about the result but sometimes it is good to experiment and know what mistakes not to make for the next one.
