Ivy Lee Method
I try to write something useful at least once a week, a strategy that might help someone here. I've seen that there are so many cultures represented here with their own concepts and ideas that you can learn a lot from.
I grew up in a mixed culture, the first years under communism with its poverty, violent death and then the blessings of the free market economy. I have learnt and am still learning from everything that has happened in my life. Something has significantly improved my life and that is the focus to do things. The most important things. Last week I wrote about values, today I'm writing about how best to focus.
100 years ago, Charles M. Schwab, the founder of Bethlehem Steel Corporation, commissioned Ivy Lee to find a method for increasing efficiency. Ivy Lee came up with a very simple but very effective daily plan, namely that you should only set yourself 6 daily goals, the most important ones, and that you should work through them in order of importance. You should finish the most important thing first and then start on another point. This way you end up working very effectively and achieving a lot. Very simple, but so effective.
Have you already used this method?

Have you actually tried Ivy Lee’s method? How has it impacted you?
Yes, for the past 7 months. It is life changing, as I do a lot more stuff now.
