little grad orders this week
Hello draw a day fam how is everyone doing?
These past few days I’ve been a bit busy working on something different from my usual drawing posts. Since it’s graduation season here, I tried making a few money lei pieces and ribbon medals and just wanted to see if anyone would be interested esp my fellow kababayans in Pampanga.
The ones in the photo are some of what I made. I used satin ribbons and added Php 100 bills to turn it into a simple graduation money lei sash. It took me a bit of time figuring out how to arrange everything so it looks nice when worn, but I think it turned out okay in the end.
One of these was actually bought by a mom as a gift for her son and seeing it worn during their celebration made me really happy. It’s a small thing but knowing something I made became part of their day feels special.
I only made a small profit from these, nothing big, but I’m still grateful that I got to sell a few. Last month I was doing fuzzy wire bouquets and now I’m trying this, just slowly exploring what I can create with my hands.
Just sharing this with you all in case you’ve also been trying something new lately. It doesn’t always have to be drawings, any little creative effort counts and I always enjoy seeing what everyone here has been up to.
