Jacklyn is a track and field athlete. She has been representing her country in most competitions and she usually wins. Till date she remains the best athlete her country has ever produced.

Now during the last Olympics games she completed and won gold in three different track and field events. But something nasty happened as she got to the finals of the 100 metres dash. She pulled up with a cramp after running and came second thus qualifying for the final race.

Her country's medical team warned her against competing in the said final race as that will jeopardize her chances of recovering on time to participate in other games. She didn't buy the idea. She decided to compete against medical advice.

In the finals of the 100 metres dash she came second again but this time pulled up with another cramp - a hamstring injury which upon medical examination showed that she will be ruled out of the event completely.

That in essence meant that the rest of the games which she had earlier qualified to appear in their finals won't be happening anymore as she cannot even recover to take part in them. She had to leave the games village to be attended to in a better medical facility.

As she exited the games her country lost a good opportunity to win more medals. In fact, they ended up winning none too, thus showing how important Jacklyn is as an athlete to her country.
