Amigos aquí y allá

Cuenta la historia que somos los mismos siempre en cualquier lugar donde nos encontremos o donde tengamos que migrar, quizás puedo decir con firmeza que estoy de acuerdo como con el 80 % del significado de esta frase. Porque nuestra esencia, educación y valores siempre nos acompañan ya que con ellos crecimos y nos hace ser lo que somos en la vida. Por ello, cuando somos de sumar amigos desde niños y hacer equipos, nos resulta común los domingos en familia y con la casa llena de buenas amistades.

Mi madre solía decirme, hija elige bien a tus amistades, porque no todos son buenos como lo eres tú. Yo no lograba entender el sentido de esa frase cuando era adolescente, sin embargo, en la medida que iba avanzando en edad, todo se vio más claro.

En mi historia de vida, siempre he estado rodeada de amigos, muchos de ellos los lleve a mi casa, donde compartimos momentos de comida, películas, juegos, o simplemente era una visita común. Por ello, encontrarme ahora en otro país, no resultaría extraño que donde me encuentre también encuentre amigos, por ello los domingos también es de reunión de amigos, películas y de cualquier otra cosa que se nos ocurra, como salir de paseo al parque o simplemente jugar en casa.

Hoy domingo es uno de esos días, que, desde temprano, hay entrada y salida de amigos, lo que me llena de alegría, porque de alguna manera, me siento un poco cercana a mi familia. Hoy mis padres conocieron a mis amigas y les dieron la bendición como siempre lo han hecho con mis amigos. Me hicieron recordar mis reuniones de amistades en casa, porque mis padres los trataban a todos con cariño y brindaban toda su atención.

Simplemente soy la mujer que soy aquí y en cualquier lugar donde me encuentre, y voy sumando nuevos amigos a medida que pasa el tiempo. Por ello, me siento agradecida con la vida, por el regalo de la amistad.

Friends Here and There

The story goes that we are always the same, no matter where we find ourselves or where we have to migrate. I can probably say with certainty that I agree with about 80% of the meaning of this phrase. Because our essence, upbringing, and values ​​always accompany us, since we grew up with them and they make us who we are in life. Therefore, since we are used to making friends from childhood and forming groups, Sundays spent with family and a house full of good friends are commonplace.

My mother used to tell me, "Daughter, choose your friends wisely, because not everyone is as good as you." I didn't quite grasp the meaning of that phrase when I was a teenager; however, as I grew older, everything became clearer.

Throughout my life, I have always been surrounded by friends. I brought many of them to my house, where we shared meals, movies, games, or it was simply a casual visit. Therefore, now that I'm in another country, it wouldn't be surprising if I found friends wherever I am. That's why Sundays are also for getting together with friends, watching movies, and doing whatever else comes to mind, like going for a walk in the park or just playing games at home.

Today, Sunday, is one of those days when friends are coming and going from early in the morning, which fills me with joy because, in a way, I feel a little closer to my family. Today, my parents met my friends and gave them their blessing, as they always do with my friends. They reminded me of my own gatherings with friends at home because my parents treated everyone with affection and gave them their full attention.

I'm simply the same woman I am here and wherever I am, and I keep making new friends as time goes by. For that, I feel grateful to life for the gift of friendship.
