TREES ARE BURNING

Its harvest time
You can smell it in the air
Hanging, drying,
Soon we can share
The fruits of our labour
The bounty so fair
Glimmers of green, orange and red hairs

Pull out the scissors
Pull out the jars
Pull up a chair
Your now behind bars
But all in good fun
There’s trimming to be done
There’s no bail for trim jail
Once it’s begun

No stems
No seeds
That we don’t need
Just lots of tasty
Homegrown weed
There’s one more step
That must be taken
The most important step
And that’s the token

So Roll it up
Light it up
Inhale
Exhale
Release your stress
Count your blessings
Pet your cat
And let your heart sing
