A Field in Winter.
The last days we spent in Germany were full of winter beauty. I already did one post about it, with pictures around the house. This one focuses more on the fields a little up the road, the motives that I found there to have fun with the camera.
I'm finally back in Ecuador, after the snow delayed us for 5 days which we enjoyed to the fullest. Since then, I've been taking a lot of pictures, and since my new cellphone (read a full review here) is still fascinating, I'm looking for motives all over the place. Everywhere. Always. Both for color as well as B/W.
I don't want to be one of those who take pictures and then turn them into B/W to make them look interesting, but my goal is to develop an eye to what could work as B/W and what not, and then what could do as both. Please feel free to give honest and direct feedback, on what could I do better! Thank you very much.

This picture was used in a post of a friend of mine, for his novel "The Man with the Luminous Eyes"
The 4th Chapter with the Picture
The first chapter - highly recommended!

Thank you for stopping by!
All pictures are taken by myself with a Motorola Edge 60 Pro and I reserve the copyright - but you're welcome to ask if you'd like to use one of the pics!

8 commentsI really like the one with the big tree (the first colorful one). Overall, my impression is 'cold deciliation', there is also something undeniably German about these photos, and I cant exactly tell you why... but as Google Earth traveler, I learned to identify countries just by how the vegetation feels, and when looking at all these photos in a row, this feels very signature of the location (if that makes any sense).
I've never thought about it like that. There's definitely what you write, that there is a certain landscape to each country, and it feels differently all the time. Even within a small country like Ecuador - there are many differences between the micro-climates and the according vegetation.
'THE TREE" is such a wicked-awesome thing! It is a majestic, wise, old tree! Love it! ❤️

You're welcome! Your post is really cool. Big hug.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm having a lot of fun with photos now, almost everyday something crosses my path that is worth a few seconds of my time and 5 MB of my hard drive :-D
Haha, that's good, after all, it's cool to be able to take pictures of everything and everyone. I'm not taking any pictures at the moment, but every now and then I take some and post them here.
