The song holiday is coming is a school song for children. Children always love singing this song, you can see the excitement on their faces when ever the are singing the song. When holiday is approaching, the song holiday is coming becomes the regular song on every assembly day. Even children who hardly sing on assembly, sing the loudest once the song is holiday is coming, they will sing and sing until they get to their classroom.

Personally, as a teacher I also look forward to holiday period and I love the song because it is a song that gives hope and assurance that I am going to have time to rest, enjoy my self without thinking of waking up early in the morning to rush to work. There is this joy I feel knowing that after a whole term of teaching, writing lesson plan, lesson note, giving assignment, test, examination and marking. I am going to enjoy a period of rest.
The holiday period is one of my favorite moments as a person. I always look forward to it. The holiday period is the period I have opportunity to travel, visite places, family and friends.
It is a period of rest when I get to spend quality time with my family.
