Deleswi's Deception and Discovery

Deleswi's time in the military training camp as a young lady who had dreams of becoming a military officer was finally be
coming fulfilled. Her training at the camp was a remarkable experience, considering that the military personnel treated her and the other female trainees equally with the male trainees, both in commendation and discipline. Despite the challenging and demanding experiences in the camp that provided valuable skills for survival and success in life, there was still a natural attraction among the male and female trainees.

After her training, Deleswi noticed that her identity as a female military officer held social significance and meaning within the larger society. She often wondered why there was a shift in perception in the broader community, given that her core qualities remained unchanged. She came from a well-cultured family, had been instilled with good manners by her parents, and was naturally kind-hearted. She had chosen a military career path, and two months after completing her training, she visited the city where her parents lived.

One day, while at an ATM to make a withdrawal, Deleswi encountered a group of men. Most of them admiredly stared at her, but none of them spoke to her. Among them was a tall, handsome, and well-dressed young man whose driver had parked a new Peugeot official car in a parking space. The young man got out of the car, placed his ATM card in his breast pocket, and walked directly towards Deleswi, saying, "I can see you're the last person in the queue," with a sense of humor and admiration in his gaze. Perhaps it was due to her uniform or her beauty.

Being a trained officer with a sense of respect, Deleswi responded in her soft, female voice, confirming that she had indeed been waiting for a while. The young man nodded and said, "Okay, I can see." He continued, "In fact, you look beautiful in your uniform," complimenting her with a hint of appeal in his smiling face and glistening eyes. Deleswi, recognizing the young man's irresistible courtesy, nodded in response and thanked him.

In less than 5 minutes, it was Deleswi's turn at the ATM.
Minutes after Deleswi had turned to use the ATM, she saw that her turn had come. Within a short time, she completed her withdrawal and as she was leaving, she smiled slightly at the young man, waving goodbye. The young man then reached into his breast pocket, took out a calling card, and handed it to Deleswi. She collected the card and he immediately went to the ATM for his withdrawal. He whispered, "Please, I will sincerely expect your call." Deleswi nodded in response and left the bank premises. Three days later, she dialed the number but there was no answer. Three hours after that, the young man called back asking, "Who is this? You called me." Deleswi replied, "The military officer you met at the bank." The young man explained that he was in a board meeting and apologized for missing her call. He introduced himself as Gent, and Deleswi introduced herself as Deles.

From that point, they began spending time on the phone and visiting resorts on weekends. Five months later, Gent stopped responding to Deleswi's calls and texts. She decided to visit his apartment to find out what was wrong. There, she learned that Gent had moved out and was preparing for his wedding. Deleswi was surprised and confused by the news but didn't say much.

The next day, Gent's close friend, Eme, called Deleswi and disclosed Gent's actions. Eme had noticed Gent's feelings for Deleswi and wanted her to know the truth. He revealed that Gent had met another woman at work, proposed to her, and was getting married. Eme wanted Deleswi to understand that Gent's feelings for her were not genuine. Eme then played a recording of a conversation where people were discussing female soldiers, and Gent had said he could only be friends with them, not marry them. Eme countered, "Love sees only the person, not the personality." Hearing this, Deleswi began to cry. Eme, moved by her emotions, knelt down and proposed to her with an engagement ring. Deleswi and Eme later got married happily
