I can clearly see a Video Reisezentrum, also known as a video travel center, and a phone booth with grass surrounding it. Behind the booth, I can see a signpost, a car and a window of a building.
I feel the Reisezentrum is in use but the phone booth is abandoned. I also feel there is a railway station behind the booth.
James, my cousin brother, had a long wish to travel to Europe in search of greener pastures ever since he was in secondary school. His quest to travel multiplied when hi ins very good friend John went to Europe immediately after their secondary education because his parents had the money and connections to make his dream come true.
James refused to go to college because his spirit and mind were in Europe. When his parents asked him to further his education, he would always say, 'I want to study in my dream country.'
After 3 years, John left Nigeria for Germany, and he invited James over. Luckily for him, he joined John a year after. One day, James misplaced his train ticket, and John asked him to use the Video Reisezentrum for assistance. James, feeling timid, got there and called.
"James, I am in the Video Reisezentrum, and I can't see anyone there."
John replied, "Hahaha. James, please use your native wisdom and connect with railway staff. You are in Europe, not Nigeria. Or humble yourself and ask someone to help you out.
Thanks for reading, God bless you all."

10 commentsNice story. James is yet to acclimatize with European life, lol.
Hahaha. Thanks for passing by
When in doubt, ask for assistance. Wise words from John. I got a bit confused in the reading. My understanding is that John left for Europe immediately after their secondary education. Was that 3 years later?
Also, is James on the phone calling John?
Thanks for sharing your story.

John invited James over after 3 years in Europe
If James is on the phone calling John, he wouldn't call John "James"
The Video Reisezentrum is a great place to get help because it's close by.
James is a JJC, he's yet to understand how things work overseas 😊
James will get used to all those new and different machines and if not he can always use the internet or make a phone call.
Thanks for joining pic1000. ❤️🍀
