Reward chests offer players all kinds of prizes, including MERITS tokens. Much like GLINT, these tokens are non-transferable and cannot be purchased on the internal secondary market. However, with the advent of GLINT and the dedicated shop, it's possible to convert GLINT into MERITS, an additional offering for this token that currently has only one use case: purchasing Gladius packs.

Gladius packs contain Gladiator cards, the first Soulbound cards in Splinterlands. I've been buying packs from the store for years, but I'm still far from upgrading even a single Gladiator card. However, with the new reward chests and token purchases in the GLINT shop, getting MERITS tokens is easier. In the past, only guild battles distributed tokens, but fortunately, these days, they're much more accessible.

I purchased 6 Gladiator packs for 12k MERITS and also purchased BLOOD Stone portions to increase my chances of getting legendary cards. It's very difficult to obtain Gladiator Legendary cards. My experience has been very unfortunate, at least, because currently, the cards are maxed out at level 2. Other Legendaries, however, are still at level 1 after years of playing!

Gladiator cards can now also participate in seasonal battles when used with ability-specific SUMMONERS.

Un po' come per GLINT, anche questi tokens non sono trasferibili e acquistabili dal mercato secondario interno, ma con l'avvento di GLINT e dello shop dedicato è possibile convertire GLINT ed ottenere MERITS, un ulteriore offerta per questo gettone che al momento ha un unico caso d'uso: l'acquisto dei pacchi Gladius.

Nei pacchi Gladius si trovano le carte Gladiator, le prime carte Soulbound in Splinterlands. Sono anni che acquisto pacchi dal negozio ma ad oggi sono ancora lontano dal potenziamen di anche solo una carta Gladiator. Però con i nuovi scrigni rewards, l'acquisto dei token nello shop di GLINT, ottenere gettoni MERITS è più semplice. In passato solo le battagl delle gilde distribuivano i tokens, oggi per fortuna è molto più accessibile.

Ho acquistato 6 pacchi Gladius per 12k MERITS ed ho anche acquistato le porzioni BLOOD Stone per aumentare le chance di ottenere carte leggendarie. È molto difficile ottenere carte leggendarie Gladiator, almeno la mia esperienza è stata molto sfortunata perché ad oggi le carte sono potenziate al massimo al secondo livello, ci sono altre leggendarie invece ancora a livello 1 dopo anni di gioco!

Le carte Gladiator adesso possono anche partecipare nei combattimenti stagionali se utilizzati con SUMMONER specifici dell'abilità.
