Hello Community...

First, joy is something that everyone in this life needs, if joy is out of one's life then we know that , that person is dead. A human being does need something that brings them joy everyday if their life to keep them going.

So currently in my life , what's bringing me joy is the fact that I have been trying to stay active here on hive, that might seem like it's not something to be happy about , but no , for me it is something that brings me so much joy , it's not easy to stay consistent on something that something you are not used to, sometimes you get busy and other times you just lose motivation to even write, but I have seriously made that conscious effort to make sure that I show up how ever it gets.

And seriously, to be honest it has been a good feeling and writing regularly has reminded me why I even started on the first place, there's just something that you feel when you put your thoughts together to become words and now sharing them to people of like minds , even when it's just a simple prompt, it feels good to be part of that
Another thing that has helped me in this journey , is the fact that I have been active on discord communities , I have never paid any mind to discord but being able to connect with some hive members on some active discord channels has really been elevating , People talk about different post, their day, and random happening , being present there made me feel alot more comnected to Hive as a whole, now it's no more about just posting and leaving, it's about engaging with other people and actually learning from them while doing so.

Know this , for me, the Motivation to keep writing comes from the interaction with this People , when you see others showing up, automatically you would want to too.

Aside from Hive , another thing that has been giving me joy is a personal thing and it is the fact that at the beginning of the year , I made a decision I was going to lose weight to help keep mentally and physically fit, well I can tell you today that it's going on well, at first it was only just an idea in my head, but as we went on into the year , I was able to and I am still following that conscious effort to achieve this goal, and I will see that I stick to it.

The little thing I cut off and the walks I started taking did help me alot, there is a certain level of satisfaction that comes from knowing you set a goal for yourself and you are actually working towards it, It boosts your confidence in a very quiet way because it reminds you that you are capable of keeping promises you make to yourself, so between staying active on Hive, writing more consistently, engaging with people in the communities, and also working on my health goals, I can say that this period of my life feels really positive.

Sometimes joy does not come from big dramatic things, sometimes it comes from small wins, personal progress, and simply feeling like you are moving forward in the right direction, and right now, I am really grateful for that.
