Art Fair Shooting
All art fairs are created equal, but some are more equal than others. Spent the weekend focused on the Unfair, but for most folks here it was the St. James Art Fair that was the main attraction.
St. James isn't really my scene but it definitely needs to be seen. Catering more to the disposable income crowd, it's always a good place for people watching.
Was shooting for a story on the Unfair, once I'd gotten enough shots for that it was time to clock out and relax with some street photography at St. James.
How could you not when everyone's having a ball?
Even the buskers had come out to play, set up every little bit along the periphery.
Louisville is a very car oriented town, so festivals and events like this are some of the rare occasions when there's plenty of people in the streets for peak street photography.
You can actually just post up and let the people come to you, like this lady did. Think she'd just won the prize for having the most fun.
Too much art can make it hard to focus, so that's probably fair enough for one day.

I always love to visit the exhibitions and even participate in them as the owner of the work, but I didn't have the opportunity to do so. Thank you for this good joy you have conveyed. It looks like I'm seeing myself
They're always fun :) Thank you
You make Louisville look like such an interesting place...sorry I never got to go there. That ship has sailed... don't know how many travel days are left in me. Keep posting those pictures
It'll keep you entertained, one way or another :D I don't know, you might be able to catch it at the locks here. Will do!
