#DailyPrompt is it’s not critical

Life is just so complicated, yet so simple. There are depths in search of living. I figure I am not the only one who feels this; it is just passing.
However, I’ll just check if my phone is charged or not. This internal monologue is killing me.
I had something to do last night; I can’t remember.

Starting the day with a coffee, the taste of it never feels old. I started drinking coffee to be attentive; now I cannot function without it. I have done a little bit of client work. I am bored and want to shift to another project. Nah, I want to read a book.

I feel bad when I create something, but elements of it are inspired. I’ll read How to Steal Like an Artist; surely there will be something that helps.
At least complete something or start a new thing; otherwise, I’ll feel the same the next morning.

I keep telling myself it’s not critical, just a thought, just a delay, just another morning.
But the things I call non-critical are the ones that quietly decide who I become.
Nothing urgent happens; still, something important keeps slipping.
