Hola comunidad de Hive! Para aquellos que aman los trabajos manuales y la creatividad hoy les traigo una representación en foami de la estatua de Buda de Ibiraçu. El Buda de Ibiraçu es una estatua de Buda localizada en el Monasterio Zen Morro da Vargem, en Ibiraçu, municipio de Espírito Santo, Brasil. Con 35 metros de altura, es considerada la mayor estatua esculpida de Buda en Occidente.

Hello, Hive community! For those who love handmade crafts and creativity, today I bring you a foam art representation of the Buddha Statue of Ibiraçu. Located in the Morro da Vargem Zen Monastery in Ibiraçu, a municipality in Espírito Santo, Brazil, this statue stands 35 meters tall and is considered the largest sculpted Buddha statue in the Western world.

Next, I'll show you step by step how I made my project. I'll start by displaying the materials.

Empezaremos haciendo la cabeza, con una esfera beige, luego colocaremos las orejas para las cuales haremos dos pequeñas barras y las colocamos en los laterales. Continuaremos con el pelo haciendo pelotitas en negro y colocándola al rededor de la cabeza. En el rostro colocaremos dos pequeños círculos negros para los ojos y un puntito rojo en la frente.

First, we'll shape the head from a beige sphere, then add the ears two small bars on either side. After that, we'll make the hair by rolling tiny black balls and arranging them around the head. Finally, for the face, we'll place two small black circles as eyes and a little red dot on the forehead.

Pasaremos a la realización del cuerpo. Haremos un cono en marrón y le aplanaremos la parte superior. Los brazos los crearemos con dos pequeños conos marrón y en su extremo unas pelotitas beige para las manos, estos los colocaremos de forma q queden uniendolas en el pecho

Next, we'll work on the body. We'll form a brown cone and flatten the top. For the arms, we'll make two small brown cones with tiny beige balls at the ends for the hands, then attach them so they meet at the chest.

Concluiremos creando la flor q sera la base de nuestra figura. Utilizaremos un poco de amarillo el cual le daremos forma circular creando así el centro. Con rosa vamos haciendo los pétalos de la flor. Primero colocaremos la parte interior y luego la exterior, está última alternada en los espacios entre los pétalos de la capa interor

We will conclude by creating the flower, which will be the base of our figure. We will use a bit of yellow, shaping it into a circle to form the center. With pink, we will make the flower petals. First, we will place the inner layer and then the outer one, the latter alternating in the spaces between the petals of the inner layer.

Esta obra está inspirada en la estatua del Buda de Ibiraçu. Yo mismo realicé tanto la figura como el registro fotográfico del proceso. Comparto esto con propósitos artísticos, no religiosos.
