Monument mode
Ok, to start with, it reminds me of ALL those dead tokens I did spend my time buying when I newly entered the crypto space.
Those imaginary days of thinking how to 1000x assets and change my life.
Did it happen, to cut the story short, I do avoid logging into those particular exchanges just to keep off with those memories. Anytime I do so, all I see is dead tokens. maybe I should say, ‘monument’.
I am sure I am not the only person having such an experience. Don't bother cheering me up about a potential kickback; dust they were and dust they will remain. I guess that's their eternal fate. There was never any utility behind those tokens.
Those who created them had one purpose; milk the system in exchange for dust coins investors will be holding for as long as they live.
I actually wanted to focus this article on other things as I am seeing myself starting with this crypto monument experience I had. The take home here is that we have both physical and virtual monuments we are keeping. What makes things seem as monuments?
First, when it has no real value or when its value can't be properly realized. Speaking of such, I just decided to dump my PC again after I got a new smartphone. Is a PC not valuable? What then was I using for my Internet activities when my older phone went bad?. Of course, the PC.

I was expecting this anyway. First, you will have to consider portability. Adding to that is the ease of access, bad Network tolerance and fourthly, battery strength. It has really been the challenge of PCs, especially this fairly used one that can last for about two to three hours.
The fact is, even if a system is to last for six hours, I wouldn't call that durable. It means you will have to be recharging after every 6 hours. The reverse is the case for smartphones. At least the one I currently have can sustain me for 24 hrs with the absence of electricity.
Internet data is always kept on; this is where the bad network tolerance also comes in because smartphones easily squeeze in with poor network coverage times just to keep you in your online activity.
My smartphone is where I connect with my music library and yes, make use of it touch when needed. It was one of those things my copartner suggested it will make the PC very useful.
W are undergoing an online program and he felt the PC will help in broader screen reading and I said, never mind, I am ok with the smartphone.

Talking of music, I can play that till the Next day. It helps keep my spirit very positive. Maybe I will focus on a PC when I start delving deeper into the environment of coding and programming. I guess along the line I will have to draw myself back to it. Another monument to talk about is my TV.
It's been months I haven't turned it on and I guess upto if not more than a year NOW I last spent time watching anything with it. I hope it doesn't just stay on its own and decide to malfunction.
Does it look weird to you? Don't be, it has been that year of intense focus. Letting go of some old habits to pick a new one has been very needful and I have seen the positive changes. The truth is I just keep that TV hanging in there to beautify the room and not look outdated in a modern world. Of course this also affects the health of my satellite services. Our antenna is just hanging outside for fun. It is not about subscribing, who will be watching it? Worst of all when our TV packages are not pay per view.
To conclude let me add, ok, let me stop from there. So how many things are you not using and why? You lost a steeze or you’ve overgrown that mentality?. Or are you not well updated enough to make use of it. As I earlier said, it is a two way thing. It will be nice if you also add share some of your experiences
