Esta vez, nos pide que hablemos de un tema que transmite mucho más que unas simples palabras: se trata de la voz, esa poderosa herramienta que todos poseemos y que refleja en nosotros muchas emociones y personalidad.

Hello, friends of this community. As we do every Tuesday at our talent gathering, our friend @angelica7 invites us to reflect on topics that are very important to our lives. This time, she asks us to talk about a topic that conveys much more than just words: the voice, that powerful tool we all possess that reflects our emotions and personality.

La voz humana es el factor que más estimula el cerebro, lo cual es maravilloso. También tiene el poder de inspirar, persuadir y conquistar corazones, pero esto solo ocurre cuando se utiliza correctamente. Recuerdo haber oído una vez que nuestra voz es como música para los oídos de los demás; por eso afirmo que la voz es casi seductora, porque algunas voces no solo se escuchan, sino que también se sienten, tocando el alma y cautivando sin necesidad de contacto. No se trata simplemente de sonar perfecto o tener una voz de locutor, sino de saber llevar el ritmo, las pausas y jugar con el tono, ya que estos aspectos pueden transmitir confianza y personalidad; solo hay que aprender a utilizar la voz correctamente.

The human voice is the factor that most stimulates the brain, which is wonderful. It also has the power to inspire, persuade, and win hearts, but this only happens when it is used correctly. I remember once hearing that our voice is like music to the ears of others; that is why I say that the voice is almost seductive, because some voices are not only heard but also felt, touching the soul and captivating without the need for contact. It's not just about sounding perfect or having a broadcaster's voice, but about knowing how to carry the rhythm, the pauses, and play with the tone, as these aspects can convey confidence and personality; you just have to learn how to use your voice correctly.

Amigos, ¿alguna vez les ha pasado que cuando escuchan una voz que les resulta atractiva, les emociona mucho? Bueno, déjenme decirles que yo soy una de esas personas. Hay voces masculinas que me parecen muy atractivas; es como si desencadenaran una serie de reacciones emocionales y físicas en mí. Cuando escucho voces que no son tan agradables, también me molesta mucho. Imagínate a alguien dando un discurso o una charla con un tono de voz que no os gusta, o escuchando un pódcast con una voz estridente, lenta, sin ritmo y con mala entonación. Esto hace que realmente no quieras seguir escuchando esas personas y eso molesta, o que te retires y no escuches nada más de esos. Por eso se dice que la voz juega un papel muy importante entre nosotros, y eso es muy cierto.

Friends, have you ever found that when you hear a voice you find attractive, it excites you greatly? Well, let me tell you that I am one of those people. There are male voices that I find very attractive; it's as if they trigger a series of emotional and physical reactions in me. When I hear voices that are not so pleasant, it also bothers me a lot. Imagine someone giving a speech or a talk in a tone of voice you don't like, or listening to a podcast with a shrill, slow voice, without rhythm and with poor intonation. This makes you really not want to keep listening to those people and that's annoying, or you walk away and don't listen to anything else from them. That's why they say that the voice plays a very important role among us, and that's very true.

Recuerdo que cuando era joven solía escuchar novelas por la radio e imaginar a los actores, especialmente a los protagonistas, como personas muy atractivas y masculinas debido a sus impresionantes voces, que eran realmente cautivadoras. A menudo los visualizaba como hombres guapos y masculinos, y a las mujeres como hermosas y extremadamente atractivas, y eso me llamaba la atención. Seguí escuchando esas novelas por la radio y me enamoré de esos actores, pero cuando los conocía en persona, no eran lo que esperaba. Eso es lo que pasa cuando escuchas la voz de alguien; nuestra mente comienza a construir una imagen de su aspecto físico y la realidad puede diferir mucho de lo que imaginabas. Es realmente interesante cómo los seres humanos pueden relacionar las características físicas con la personalidad únicamente a través de la voz. Desgraciadamente, esta interpretación no siempre coincide con la realidad, lo que puede llevar a formar juicios erróneos sobre los demás.

I remember when I was young, I used to listen to radio dramas and imagine the actors, especially the main characters, as very attractive and masculine people because of their impressive voices, which were truly captivating. I often visualized them as handsome, masculine men and the women as beautiful and extremely attractive, and that caught my attention. I continued listening to those radio dramas and fell in love with those actors, but when I met them in person, they were not what I expected. That's what happens when you hear someone's voice; our mind begins to construct an image of their physical appearance, and reality can differ greatly from what you imagined. It's really interesting how human beings can relate physical characteristics to personality solely through the voice. Unfortunately, this interpretation does not always match reality, which can lead to forming misguided judgments about others.

En mi opinión, cada voz tiene un tono único y muy especial, al igual que cada instrumento de una orquesta tiene su propia melodía. Si se utiliza correctamente, la voz puede ser encantadora. Así que, amigos, ¿qué esperas? Para hacer buen uso de esta importante herramienta que poseemos, como lo es: nuestra voz.

In my opinion, every voice has a unique and very special tone, just as every instrument in an orchestra has its own melody. When used correctly, the voice can be enchanting. So, friends, what are you waiting for? Let's make good use of this important tool we possess: our voice.
