[Man! I can’t seem to let that email from yesterday morning go…pretty much ruined my day by occupying my thoughts and kept me from going back to sleep this morning, so I’ve literally lost sleep over it. So stupid, but my brain keeps recycling and popping it back in my head…I’d just let it go for last semester, but I have a virtual class this semester as well and it’s stressing me out if I’m going to have to give a paper exam. Although I’m likely invoking bad karma, I’m sending him the vibes I’m feeling now. Tummy keeps going nuts. 😡😭 Absolutely exhausted right now…being a solid two more hours short on sleep does not help at all.]

Was a bit late to bed last night, didn’t get to sleep until ten thirty or so, got up around three and moved out to the couch and then got up around six thirty. Got close enough to eight hours to call it good, but I still seem to be behind and with tying myself in knots all day I was worn out and crashed again big time in the afternoon.

Not a lot interesting happening during the usual morning routine, just the same ol’, but, as I’ve mentioned a couple times, I got an email barking at me that I was supposed to administer the lead faculty’s (yeah he lorded that over me) paper exam that he’d given to me like the day before the exam was to be administered and bitched at me in thanks for the extra work I did (well, was forced to do since the other lead faculty told me it was my responsibility to create the course and all the materials from scratch myself - which I did).

No use crying over spilt milk (he can just fuck right off anyway) but as I said I have to deal with it for the next semester as well…one whole fucking week of my break is gone already and the stress from this semester still hasn’t ended…worked into the week on grades and reporting this shit, now two days of feeling fucked up in response. Pissing me off that I’m getting robbed of time I need to recharge.

Did my best (which wasn’t great) to put it out my mind enough to get working on my post. Didn’t do too badly and got a decent one done with a good half hour to spare before posting time.

I decided to head into town to run my weekly errands early and missed ten o’clock posting time by a couple minutes, but no big deal. Otherwise, smooth trip in and I’m set with my bad habits for a little while.

After I got back I got a sandwich for lunch and started to drag really hard…to the point that distracting myself with VR wasn’t even attractive. All I really wanted was to lay down, but I felt like a lazy bum and decided to try out the “benchmark run” for the virtual coach on the new watch.

Did ok, ran more than I generally do on Zombieruns, but I have to admit that I had some difficulty breathing…out of shape for one, but the smoking isn’t good for that all. As I had thought, though, it shut itself off when the run ended and I had to restart it for the rest of the walk.

It seems to be quite a bit harsher both in terms of distance as well as steps by comparison with FitBit…can’t ever recall struggling to get my step goal on a day when I went for a five kilometer walk, but I still had a thousand steps left to go at the end of today. 🤔

It was pretty wintery out there today, but we haven’t gotten the nasty stuff yet…supposed to be coming tomorrow and/or the next day with serious snow and wicked high winds. 😱

The pond’s all frozen up again:

After I got back from the walk I didn’t feel any more energized than before and I laid down and crashed out for an hour and a half or so. Woke up feeling pretty crappy and craving something sweet and immediately started back in with the final exam nonsense.

There was still some time before Wenche was set to be done with work so after I woke up a little I played some more Into the Radius. Did two runs out and back and got four or five missions completed between them. 👍 No deaths this time, which was good, and I picked up another more powerful weapon which is helpful too.

Quit out around the time that Wenche finished with work and she made us leftover pig-cakes from Christmas dinner and some potatoes and gravy for dinner and she put on the new season of Emily in Paris.

Luckily, she was busy packing to go to Norway tomorrow and I was able to jump on the tv and put on Cobra Kai (that we hadn’t finished) before she could start the drama show. 😛😂. We watched a couple episodes of that and then switched to SuperStore until another fairly late bedtime.

[Actually got a pretty early start on this post today…nearly done and only slightly past nine. Probably going to give in and just go back to bed as soon as I post. 😢]

Wow! For like the second time ever, my stated dShitty income equals my actual income! Of course, there was a Bank robbery, ‘cus maf, but I got that one whole SIM to put toward my great-grandchildren’s inheritance (lucky I don’t have any children! 😛)

Honestly, kind of hurts looking at the last week or more of Splinterlands rental income
and not even seeing enough to punt on the starter pack for Astral Revelations. Was down even harder than yesterday to only $1.2.

I thought I’d gotten my picture before I claimed my WOO stake rewards, but I guess I didn’t. 😢 Today’s was around thirty, I don’t think the claim worked yesterday (there were node issues around that time) so I think that’s why it was high for today. Still no mining rewards, but I did stake up thirty or so from drops. 🤑

Not really sure how to handle the seven day average now…there is an average calculation, but from what I can tell it includes the current day (I’ve been over ten thousand the last four days, but it says like eight thousand - since I don’t have the steps yet for today). 😡 I guess it might give me an appropriate number if I set the date back every day, but I was hoping I wouldn’t have to do that anymore.
