E265 JJ115, Drawing step by step /Rising Star
Hello everyone, today I'm going to show you the new drawing I've done, inspired by one of the beautiful cards from the game, as always. For today I wanted something different, so I chose an epic microphone. It's the E265 JJ115. As you can see, this microphone is very different from most of the microphones I've painted for you here. It has a really nice design with straight sides and a square shape. It reminds me a lot of the microphones journalists use to give their reports; usually, the name of the news network it belongs to is printed on the square sides.
A microphone has a universal use, so it's also used for music. I suppose this one is for recording studios since I haven't seen that model used on people's cards or in real life, so perhaps it's for a more professional use, I guess. Let's move on to the drawing so you can see how I did it; it'll be interesting. I started by drawing the card's frame; this is the inner one.
Next, I drew the shape of the microphone's central silhouette—that is, the part with straight sides—and the upper part with curved sides. After finishing that, I drew the lower handle, which is cylindrical. This handle has two functions: it's used to hold the microphone and to mount it on a tripod. In fact, it even has a hole for a screw. I'll draw the screw in a later step. See how it turned out.
In the next step, I drew several lines inside. What I achieved with these was to give more volume to certain parts, creating a 3D effect so it wouldn't look so flat. I like seeing how much it changes just by adding those lines; they make it look so much better, don't they? With that, the sketch was finished.
Now comes the painting. In the following screenshots, you can see step by step how I did the entire painting process for each part. It's better if you see it for yourselves than have me describe it, as that would be boring. Take a look.
And to finish up, friends, here's the final result with the game's name added as a stamp certifying that the drawing is finished, and of course, the card's name as well. See you next time.
