Hello , Hi , Namaste to all hive users reaching this post , hope you all are doing great . So today I am here with something that I tried making for the first time - its a string pouch . I made this for my grandmother so that she can put her keypad mobile phone in it .

For making this pouch, I saw some videos from you tube . Made it a little long so that it would be easy to hold and mobile phone fits properly.

So here is the process I followed for this crochet pouch -

As my grandmother told me to choose colours which do not gets dirty easily , I chose brown as the main part and a little bit of white for the heart . This time I am unable to explain / tell the steps , so sorry for that .

First fall I was making a heart for the granny square .

Here the granny square was completed , made 2 granny squares with same pattern and then attached them .

Attached the 3 sides using single crochet.

Then started increasing its height using double crochet .

After this made loops for inserting string .

Some more rounds .

At last started making string - for this made 60 chains and then single crochet in every chain ( at first I thought to make the string only with 60 chains but then realised its too thin )

Inserted the string into the loops by leaving 1 loop simultaneously and here the pouch was ready .

It took me 2-3 days for preparing this pouch ( because I am still learning it ) but I think it was worth it.
