Aceh's customs
Today 10 Muharram is also called Ashura day, usually on this day Muslims fast on Ashura day circumcision by holding crowded events in public places. On this day the mothers make a cooking event to break the fast later, this is a typical Aceh dish that is made for every iftar. This Acehnese cuisine is made from rice food in the love of various types of spices into the rice mixture and also meat, shrimp.
This Acehnese food is famous for its taste, in the month of Ramadan which is often a snack to break the fast. For the 10th day of Muharram celebration or Ashura day, it is ready to be cooked later, it will be shared for all, some take it home, some immediately break their fast at the surau or ask in a place of worship.
This typical Aceh dish, the name Rumbi kanji, just a little bit of the food feels all kinds of spices into it.
It has become a customary habit for us every time we come on Ashura on 10 Muharram to hold this Acehnese special dish which has become a culture from time to time. Umi ummi you are the mother who made this dish.
