I was having a conversation with a friend of mine today about credit cards. My friend was trying to convince me that credit cards make a lot of people’s lives better, which I agreed with, but I said that credit cards have also been a lot of people's problem and this is not because the idea is bad This was only because some people don’t know how to live in their reality. Credit cards will only give you the illusion that you can do some things and on paper, they are not true.

One of the illusions that comes with a credit card is that you're spending money that you don’t have and a lot of people don’t know how to do this well. Some people look at it as an opportunity to do what they want to do which they are completely wrong, but it is actually one of the easiest ways to pull yourself into a trap and the reason why people do this is that they have an expectation. It doesn’t make any sense you spend the money that you don’t have.

Expectations

A lot of people who use credit card knows that they are spending the money that they don’t have and why they do it anyway is because of expectation. You borrow money to go on a vacation you can't afford because you expect to have such vacations, you borrow money to buy a new car you can't afford because you expect to have the car. Most of the time we spend money we don’t have because of our expectations.

The truth is expectation is different from reality and most times we make a decision based on our expectation When we do this, especially the one
that has to do with our finances affected it greatly. Expectation is also part of the reason why a lot of people are not happy just because they have so many expectations for themselves and their expectations are different from where they are and also different from reality.

The reality

The truth is that we all have expectations and there are certain things we all want to do for ourselves but one of the things you should try to avoid is your expectations putting you into a problem A perfect example is letting your expectations make you spend money that you don’t have. I know this might sound simple, but it is one of the main reasons why people fall into credit card debt, some of the things that people use the money to buy are the things that they don’t need.

You must be willing to accept your reality and live a life that doesn’t contradict it. Don’t fall into trouble where your expectations lead you into a problem. You must be willing to accept where you are and walk without your expectations leading you. Understand where you are and know where you are going. Plan it without making decisions based on emotions.
