Hello passionate about black and white and old architecture. This time I want to share in this wonderful community of excellent photographers a series of exterior images of a very peculiar church. This is the Church of Paula, located on the promenade of the same name on the avenue of the port of Havana. This building was completed with its present appearance in the 1740's, a long time ago, right? This rough appearance of the exterior rock also has other buildings that were built around the same time, such as the Church of San Francisco de Asis.

Currently, the church that occupies us in this post, has cultural uses. It is home to an early music group called Ars Longa, by the way, an excellent group of musicians. The first time I heard the songs performed by this group I felt like I was in a Braveheart movie, living at that time. The state of conservation of the Church of Paula is extraordinary despite the neglect that the historic center has suffered due to the crisis. Hola apasionados del blanco y negro y la arquitectura antigua. En esta ocasión quiero compartir en esta maravillosa comunidad de excelentes fotógrafos una serie de imágenes exteriores de una iglesia muy peculiar. Se trata de la Iglesia de Paula, ubicada en el paseo del mismo nombre en la avenida del puerto de La Habana. Está edificación se terminó de construir con su aspecto actual por los años 1740, ¿hace mucho verdad?. Este aspecto tosco de la roca exterior también lo tienen otras edificaciones que fueron construidas por la misma época, como la Iglesia de San Fransisco de Asís. Actualmente, la iglesia que nos ocupa en este post, tiene usos culturales. Es sede de un grupo de música antigua llamado Ars Longa, por cierto, un excelente conjunto de músicos. La primera vez que escuché las canciones interpretadas por este grupo me pareció que estaba dentro de una película del tipo Corazón Valiente, viviendo aquella época. El estado de conservación de la Iglesia de Paula es extraordinario a pesar del abandono que ha sufrido el casco histórico debido a la crisis.
