Hace unos años mi vida se tornó de gris, una inmensa nube cubría mis días pero gracias a Dios logré conseguir la luz en ese túnel que por algunas veces pensé que sería infinito. Sin duda una de las maneras para superar esos días grises es alejarse de quien lo causa. Cuando empecé a alejarme de ellos algunos empezaron a reaccionar mal conmigo como si los hubiera traicionado y no, nunca fue así. Fue una decisión difícil pero necesaria.

A few years ago, my life turned gray. A huge cloud covered my days, but thank God I managed to find the light at the end of that tunnel, which at times I thought would be endless. Without a doubt, one of the ways to get through those gray days is to distance yourself from the person causing them. When I started to distance myself from them, some began to react badly toward me, as if I had betrayed them, but that was never the case. It was a difficult but necessary decision.

Alejarme de ese mundo me trajo mucha soledad pues lo que estaba superando lo estaba haciendo prácticamente solo. Y no porque mi mamá o mi familia no haya estado conmigo, siempre han estado, pero también siempre necesitaremos ese amigo con quién confesarse, con quién hablar sin tabú y ese amigo no lo tuve por mucho tiempo hasta que conocí a quien ya le he mencionado anteriormente, @wilins quien llegó a darme la mano, a ofrecerme la toalla para secarme la cara y seguir adelante. Hoy sigo trabajando para ser hoy, mejor de lo que fui ayer.

Moving away from that world brought me a lot of loneliness because I was overcoming it practically alone. And not because my mom or my family wasn't there for me—they always have been—but we always need that friend we can confide in, talk to without taboos, and I didn't have that friend for a long time until I met the person I mentioned earlier, @wilins, who came to give me a hand, offer me a towel to dry my face, and help me move forward. Today, I continue working to be better today than I was yesterday.

Esta canción la escribí mucho después de haber pasado por lo que pasé y fue esa canción donde pude entender lo importante que será la música para mi vida pues acá aunque no lo parezca, liberé ese monstruo que aún estaba ahí, acechando, esperando el momento para reaparecer. Hoy, ese monstruo ya no está y aunque no lo crean, la música y la Blockchain fueron muy esenciales para que luego que @wilins emigrara, yo seguir enfocado y no volver a tomar aquella ruta tan oscura y desconocida.

I wrote this song long after going through what I went through, and it was through this song that I understood how important music would be in my life because, even though it may not seem like it, I released that monster that was still there, lurking, waiting for the moment to reappear. Today, that monster is gone, and believe it or not, music and blockchain were essential in helping me stay focused after @wilins emigrated and keep me from going back down that dark and unknown path.
