Dandelions are also used in medicine, including folk medicine. People make tea from dandelions. They also make various tinctures, ointments, and other remedies.
It is not only a beautiful flower but also a useful one.
Dandelions are wildflowers. They are widespread in our region. There are a great many of them here. You can find dandelions in meadows, gardens, on roadsides, in the mountains, near streams, and so on.
When a dandelion stops blooming, it becomes fluffy, with dry, tiny stems and fibers that are easily blown away. Inside the dandelion head is a white sap; it is very bitter.
Dandelions are great for making wreaths. Here, on the holiday of Ivan Kupala, girls weave wreaths from dandelions and toss them into the river so they float away.
