Selfless without guilt.
Good day everyone welcome, happy weekend, welcome to my blog. I hope you find time to rest this weekend to reload in preparation for a new week.
My image
Being a girl child is different from being a woman. As a girl child, our parents do almost seventy to eighty percent of things for us. From providing to protecting to making some choices for us. But as a woman, the responsibility of a lot of people rests on our shoulders.
As women, we are expected to take care of our home, children, sometimes relatives. We are responsible to make sure the children under our care are well feed, lives in a clean environment, does their home work and attend every necessary classes without being late to any.
This and more have been the chronicles of my life since years past. Simply put, I have been very selfless to my family. I make sure to be present for all the members of my immediate family, we mark and celebrate every milestone together, we pray, we laugh, we play and even cry together.
I have given so much of my all that I find myself empty whenever I am out of town or they went out. Whenever that happens, I usually have the thought of being useful for myself alone but once they come back, my body goes back to factory reset of living for them.
My image
Do they appreciate it? Yes they do. I realized how much I am being appreciated whenever I step out for the weekend and my family keeps my phone busy from calls and messages requesting for one thing or the other or needing help on how to get certain things done.
Not because they do not know how to do things around the house but because they want the same result as it would if mom did it. I am selfless to my family without shame.
Thank you for reading, i am @elizy
