Hello coffee community!

March 8th was a wonderful day. Not only because it was Women's Day. My husband, like every morning, fulfilling a ritual that has been going on for more than two years, woke me up with a cup of freshly made cinnamon-flavored coffee. But the surprise was this bunch of beautiful white flowers. My favorites.

But the most wonderful thing about the day, in terms of coffee, was that I had a delicious coffee surrounded by friends, in a way and in the most unexpected place of all: a radio booth.

It turns out that my singer friend Martha Borrell and I were invited to participate in a radio program dedicated to women. I went with her and my husband @abelarte so he could take the photos.

When, suddenly, a lady enters the cabin with a thermos of hot coffee, espresso and sweet cookies.

Without a doubt, the surprise was immense, as great as our gratitude. Since the booth is very cold and the coffee warmed both our body and soul.
Well, everyone, except Martha.
Abel felt sorry for her that, since she had to sing live in the next cut, she couldn't drink it hot. But, when he told her, she replied: Coffee is good either way, hot or cold. I drink it either way.
And so she did. Once she finished singing, she drank her cup and ate the cookies.

A long time later, the aroma of good Cuban coffee could still be smelled in the radio booth.

Hola comunidad cafetera!

El día 8 de marzo fue un día maravilloso. No solo por ser el día de la mujer. Mi esposo, como cada amanecer, cumpliendo un ritual que lleva más de dos años, me despertó con una taza de café aromatizado con canela, recién hecho. Pero la sorpresa fue esta pucha de flores blancas, hermosas. Mis favoritas.

Pero lo más maravilloso del día, en cuestiones cafeteras, fue que me tomé un café delicioso y rodeada de amigos, de una forma y en el lugar más inesperado de todos: una cabina de radio.

Resulta que nos invitaron junto a mi amiga cantante Martha Borrell a participar en un programa de radio dedicado a la mujer. Fui con ella y con mi esposo @abelarte para que realizara las fotos.

Cuando, de repente, entra una señora a cabina con un termo de café caliente, expreso y galletas dulces.

Sin duda alguna, la sorpresa fue inmensa, tan grande como nuestro agradecimiento. Ya que la cabina es muy fría y el café nos calentó tanto el cuerpo como el alma.
Bueno, a todos, menos a Martha.
A Abel le dio pena con ella que, como tenía que cantar en vivo en el siguiente corte, no pudo tomárselo caliente. Pero, al decírselo, ella contestó: El café es rico como sea, caliente o frío. Me lo tomo como sea.
Y así hizo. Una vez terminado de cantar, se tomó su taza y se comió las galleticas.

Mucho tiempo después, aún el aroma del buen café cubano, se podía oler en la cabina de radio.
