Hello, girls!
I'm no longer a child, biologically speaking, even though I'm still a child at heart and my energies are those of a teenager. However, there are days when I've looked in the mirror and didn't recognize the woman standing before me.
Not because of my face, but because of everything I carry inside: doubts, insecurities, those little reproaches that whisper that I can't do something. Or when I try to convince myself not to do it... deceiving myself.
There are times in life when everything conspires to make even the strongest person doubt. There's no reason to feel bad about this. Even Jesus doubted almost at the end of his life.

Over the years, I've learned that these doubts were, first, natural (when I had them as a teenager) and, finally, inferiority complexes.
In short, a lack of self-love.
But over time, I've learned something: self-love isn't a destination; it's a journey. And that journey begins with a liberating truth: to be loved, I must first learn to love myself.

It's not selfishness, it's not self-sufficiency, or ignoring my flaws: it's a matter of survival, it's believing in myself as a survival strategy. Because how can I expect others to believe in me if I don't believe in myself?
Self-love isn't born overnight; it's built. With patience, with honesty, even with pain. It's digging into my wounds to heal them, into my fears to understand them, into my mistakes to forgive them. It's seeing myself completely. Seeing my lights and shadows and saying: This is who I am, and I am a beautiful and good person: Today I can conquer the world

Sometimes we confuse self-love with arrogance or self-sufficiency. But it's not about believing oneself to be perfect, but rather about accepting oneself as human. About embracing my contradictions, my fragile days, my imperfect laughter. Because when I know myself, when I stop running away from who I am, something changes: I no longer look to others for the validation that only I can give myself.
I alone am enough to love myself, and I love myself every day that passes.
That's when I grow in art, in my love for my children, and I can do everything. That's when I achieve what's perfect, what's beautiful, what's good, what's right. That's when I fulfill my dreams and work so my children fulfill theirs.
But that external, authentic, healing love only comes when we stop begging for it and start offering it to ourselves first.

So today I say to you, don't rush. Learn to listen to yourself, to respect yourself, to celebrate yourself. The love you so yearn for is born within you. And maybe, just maybe, that's the only love that can never abandon you.

So, on those days when I wake up like this, not recognizing myself, what I do is get up, look in the mirror, wash my face, and tell myself: today you woke up more powerful and beautiful than ever. Leave the nonsense behind and go out and conquer the world with your music.
With the guitar in my hand, all doubts vanish, and I am myself again, the most loved woman in the world.

Ya no soy una niña, biológicamente hablando, a pesar de que sigo siendo una niña de alma y mis energías son las de una adolescente. Sin embargo, hay días en los que he mirado al espejo y no he reconocido a la mujer que está frente a mí.
No por mi rostro, sino por todo lo que llevo dentro: dudas, inseguridades, esos pequeños reproches que susurran que no podré hacer algo. O en que trato de convencerme de no hacerlo... engañándome a mí misma.
Hay momentos de la vida en que todo confabula para que hasta el más fuerte dude. No hay por qué sentirse mal por esto. Hasta Jesús dudó casi al final de su vida.

Con el paso de los años aprendí que estas dudas eran, primeramente, naturales (cuando las tenía de adolescente) y, finalmente, complejos de inferioridad.
En resumen, falta de amor propio.
Pero con el tiempo he aprendido algo: el amor propio no es un destino, es un camino. Y ese camino comienza con una verdad liberadora: para ser amada, primero debo aprender a amarme a mí misma.

No es egoísmo, no es autosuficiencia o ignorar mis defectos: es una cuestión de supervivencia, es creer en mí como una estrategia de supervivencia. Porque ¿cómo puedo esperar que otros crean en mí si ni yo misma lo hago?
El amor propio no nace de golpe; se construye. Con paciencia, con honestidad, incluso con dolor. Es escarbar en mis heridas para sanarlas, en mis miedos para entenderlos, en mis errores para perdonarlos. Es mirarme completa. Mirar mis luces y sombras y decir: Así soy y soy hermosa y buena persona: Hoy puedo conquistar el mundo

A veces confundimos el amor propio con la arrogancia o la autosuficiencia. Pero no se trata de creerse perfecta, sino de aceptarse humana. De abrazar mis contradicciones, mis días frágiles, mis risas imperfectas. Porque cuando me conozco, cuando dejo de huir de quien soy, algo cambia: ya no busco en los demás la validación que solo yo puedo darme.
Yo sola soy suficiente para amarme y me amo cada día que pasa.
Es entonces cuando me crezco en el arte, en el amor a mis hijos y lo puedo todo. Es cuando realizo lo perfecto, lo bonito, lo bueno, lo correcto. Es cuando cumplo mis sueños y trabajo para que mis hijos cumplan los suyos.
Pero ese amor externo, auténtico, sanador, solo llega cuando dejamos de mendigarlo y empezamos a ofrecérnoslo nosotras primero.

Así que hoy te digo, no te apresures. Aprende a escucharte, a respetarte, a celebrarte. El amor que tanto anhelas nace dentro de ti. Y tal vez, solo tal vez, ese sea el único amor que nunca podrá abandonarte.

Por eso, en esos días en que amanezco así, que no me reconozco, lo que hago es levantarme, mirarme al espejo, lavarme la cara y decime: hoy te levantaste más poderosa y hermosa que nunca. Deja la bobería y sal a conquistar el mundo con tu música.
Ya con la guitarra en la mano, todas las dudas se esfuman y vuelvo a ser yo, la mujer que más se ama en el mundo.
