Good day hivers! How was your day? Mine has rainy again. There's a very long and heavy rain today and I think this lasts almost three hours and it left us very hungry. It's our routine like every three or four pm we have coffee and we often go out for snack but we can't because of the rain and my family had slept because of the cold weather and when we wake up it's already evening. It's about for dinner cooking but we don't have supplies anymore so we went to the market ro buy some. The water is still running down the streets and the sky was so dark of heavy clouds but I'm sure it won't rain again, maybe tomorrow for sure in the morning it's a good weather and by the afternoon or evening it will rain so much. My wife headed to the fruit and vegetable section first. We talked about what we want to cook and she likes to have lomi. It's a noodle soup perfect for the cold weather. I just stay here in the motorcycle with my kids and let my wife decide what to buy because in this hours there will be more people, very busy buying groceries so it's easy for her to swing around without holding our kid's hands.

Then after she bought for the viand, we went across the road there is where the cheaper rice will sold. They had wholesale price that's why their prices are a way cheaper compare to buying a kilo of rice at a sari-sari store and anyways this public market is just two minutes away from home so it's worth to buy here. Prices today is way better than prices of rice five months ago. It was very expensive like 60 pesos for a kilo. The worst price I encountered is the 62 pesos I thi k that was last year. Our favorite rice is Jasmin rice.

This is actually the wet market here where my wife bought vegetables. I had a wider picture here when she bought rice. Actually our public market is very small before but starting this year it's very big, convenient and a cleaner one.

And after everything is bought. We headed home. My kids keep on talking about the egg. I was curious why they always said "let's buy egg" And my wife said "yeah, there's an egg here for the soup" Because lomi needs lots of eggs. Only I realized they are talking about the balut. The boiled young eggs of ducks. Maybe we'll try it next time because the weather is bad like anytime is about to rain. When we arrived, we're busy cooking and then we ate. We watched movie because we slept in the afternoon and it's hard for the kids to sleep early when they get up in the early evening.
