DIY Spoon Man
Hello, amazing DIY community and fellow Hivians! I hope you're doing great.
After enjoying a satisfying meal of fried rice and chicken, I found myself lost in thought while washing the dishes 🍴🧹. As I picked up my spoon, my imagination began to wander, and I envisioned a spoon man 🤣! I couldn't resist bringing this whimsical character to life on paper 📝.
I'd love to share my creative process with you and hear your thoughts on this unique piece of art 🤔. Before diving into the process, here are the materials I used:
- A4 paper 📄
- Scoop spoon 🥄
- HB pencil ✏️
- Eraser 🗑️
- Sharpener 🔪
- Ruler 📏
*Step One*
I sharpened my pencil with the help of my trusty sharpener 🔪, making sure the mouth of the pencil was straight and neat 👍. Then, I placed my scoop spoon carefully on the A4 paper 📄.
*Step Two*
I went ahead and traced the spoon with my pencil on the A4 paper 📝, making sure that the space of the scoop spoon could be seen on the A4 paper 👀.
*Step Four*
Now, I was going to erase some part of the spoon, making an egg for our honorable spoon man 🥚. I made the jaw a little bit thin so that it can look like a human 👨.
*Step Five*
I started to draw the clothes, I wanted his fashion to look like the olden days, wearing something like a suit and bow tie 👔. So, I started to draw the shoulders, then down to the trousers 👖.
*Step Six*
I went to his head and wanted to leave it like that, but I thought it wise giving him a working stick to complete his gentle look 🌟. Then, I went down drawing his shoes with a pointed mouth 👠.
*Final Step*
I finally completed his body; it was time to give him that perfect spoon face 😁. I added his eyes, then mouth, and lastly his long beards 🧔. This made him look perfectly like the way I imagined him 🤩. It was like my imagination was coming to life on a piece of paper 🔥. I then shaded the background and some part of his outfit, including his beard 🖌️.
I hope you enjoyed following along and seeing how I completed the drawing of my spoon man 🎨. Please comment on how you feel about the imagination 💭. Until next time, remain creative and keep on spoon-ing 😄!
