My Home Tree
Hello! Dear Hive Members. Hope You all are doing well. Winters became harsh and severe and severe more. Temperature has dropped and everyone is facing difficulties in their outdoor activities.
Today I'm sharing you some clicks of my home tree "Acacia Modesta"also known as "Kikar".
Acacia Modesta is the small thorny tree. It grows to the height of 7-12 meters having yellow round head flowers which are nectar less.The bark is blackish and rough. The leaves are light green and fern like UpTo 120mm long and 50mm wide. Flowers are 10-15mm in diameter and are sweetly scented. It can grow in a areas with a yearly rainfall between 250 and 1300mm.It prefers temperature ranging from -5°C to 40°C.
It is mainly grow in the cold temperature. It can be grow in any type of soil and require water for seed germination. Acacia bark contains from 24 to 42% of the tannin gallic acid.
In dryland, Acacia Modesta is an important forage species.Its leaves take the form of small finely divided leaflets that give the leafstalk a feathery or fern like appearance. People admire that scenes. Some species don't have leaves they have flattened stems that act as leaves.
The bark and the seeds are the source of tannin or arresting secretion or bleeding. It's also useful in Diarrhoea. It also used for the fireworks or timber.
It is cultivated for erosion and fuel wood. Flowers are used for ornamental purposes and fodder for goats. It is honey bee species. It's wood is used for paper production and also used as gum.
