Un saludo para los miembros de esta gran comunidad. Hace solo unos días pudimos disfrutar de las semifinales de la Copa del Rey, y sobre lo ocurrido en ambas eliminatorias y que pudiera pasar en la final, trata el siguiente post.
Casi siempre al arrancar los primeros partidos eliminatorios de la Copa de España, muchos fanáticos pronostican que el Barcelona (máximo ganador de este certamen) o el Real Madrid lleguen a la final. Son los dos clubes más poderosos del futbol ibérico y uno siempre espera verlos disputando todos los títulos, pero la realidad de la temporada, dicta otros resultados.
Luego del estrepitoso fracaso del club merengue ante un equipo de segunda división en fases previas, las semifinales quedaron listas para disputarse. Por un lado tendríamos el duelo vasco Real Sociedad-Atletic de Bilbao, y por el otro un platillo de lujo, Barcelona-Atlético de Madrid. En el clásico del Pais Vasco, el equipo de la Real, ganó los dos partidos por la mínima diferencia y aseguró un boleto en la final. Por su parte el Atlético del “Cholo” Simeone, sufrió lo indecible para eliminar al club de la ciudad condal.
En el primer partido de la semifinal, jugado en el Metropolitano, los colchoneros hicieron uno de sus mejores partidos en los últimos tiempos (tanto a nivel defensivo como ofensivo) y golearon sorpresivamente al Barca por 4-0.Luego de este marcador, parecía estar todo decisivo, más aún faltaba el juego de vuelta en Camp Nou. Una vez más, el Atlético decepcionó en su actuación y el Barcelona pudo endosarle un rudo 3-0, sin embargo, al final los catalanes se quedaron a solo un gol de igualar la eliminatoria, y el club dirigido por el Cholo (con el ómnibus parqueado frente al arco) terminó clasificando angustiosamente.
