MY COOKING PROGRESS
Good Day Hive Food 👋 Welcome to my blog!
Cooking is something I never thought I would enjoy, but over time, it has slowly become part of my daily life. At the beginning, I was very inexperienced and nervous in the kitchen. I was always afraid of making mistakes, burning food, or wasting ingredients. Even the simplest meals felt difficult, and I often needed help or instructions.
I started my cooking journey with very basic foods like noodles, eggs, rice, and tea. Sometimes the food came out well, and I felt proud of myself. Other times, it didn’t taste good at all 😅. There were moments when the rice was too soft, the noodles were overcooked, or the eggs were burnt. Those moments were discouraging, but they also taught me important lessons.
As time went on, I began to understand cooking better. I learned how to control the heat, how to time my cooking, and how to prepare ingredients before starting. I also learned that cooking requires patience and focus. Rushing often leads to mistakes, so I now try to stay calm and take my time.
One thing that really helped my progress was practice. The more I cooked, the more confident I became. I started trying new meals and experimenting with small changes in ingredients. Even when the food didn’t turn out perfect, I still felt proud because I tried.
Cooking has taught me responsibility and independence. It feels good to know that I can prepare food for myself without relying on others. Although I am still learning and improving, I am happy with how far I have come. Every meal I cook is a step forward in my cooking journey.
I believe progress doesn’t have to be fast to be meaningful. Little by little, I am becoming better in the kitchen, and that makes me proud.
