"He always tries to make me feel special, by doing something different. This time he also gifted me this beautiful dress. Isn't it beautiful?" Kelly said this to Farina.

"Of course my dear! You are lucky to have such a caring and loving fiance. " She replied.

" You are right! I am blessed to have him."

Kelly and Farina were best friends since middle school and Kelly was engaged with Nain who was also their university fellow. Nain was a handsome guy who was in deep love with Kelly and they had been engaged for three months now. Nain gifted a beautiful dress to Kelly and wanted her to wear it on his birthday which was coming the next Sunday. Kelly was sharing her happiness with her best friend (Farina).

Kelly was an orphan who lost her parents at a very young age, so she used to live with her aunt in an apartment which was near Farina's house. So Kelly and Farina were used to spend most of the time together. Kelly went to the market with her aunt to buy a gift for Nain a day before his birthday and Farina was also with her. She bought a beautiful wristwatch for him and they returned home safely.

"I want you to sleep here today, as I have so many things to plan about Nain's birthday."

" Okay, but I would have to ask my Mom first."

Farina got permission from her mom to stay at Kelly's house for a night. Kelly spent the whole night talking with Farina about Nain and her relationship. The next day, she woke up and after having breakfast they both went to the parlor to get her facial. Later Kelly opened a dresser to take her dress out which was given by Nain. But she couldn't believe what her eyes saw, as the dress was badly damaged. It was as if someone had cut it with scissors. Tears rolled down from Kelly's eyes as she was deeply saddened to see the dress. Farina ran to her to ask her about it and she was also shocked.

"Omg! Who could do this? "

" I don’t know, but...Nain...OMG...He would be waiting for me! What I would say to him?" She was in deep pain and was badly crying.

"I think you should wear something else as you are already getting late."

"He would get disappointed. I am not going to attend his birthday. "

" Your absence will disappoint him even more."

Farina convinced her to wear another dress and she got ready. She left for his birthday with a heavy heart. Nain was desperately waiting for her but he was surprised to see her in that dress as he was not expecting this. However, he welcomed her and introduced her to his other friends. The birthday party went well and at the end, Kelly gave him his gift. Nain was happy to receive it so decided to open it before his friends. But as soon as he opened it, everyone started laughing as there was nothing inside. The box was empty.

Nain was shocked and embarrassed in front of his friends. Kelly was also embarrassed but she was unable to understand, what happened to her. She couldn't utter a word. After the party Kelly went to Nain to apologize and to make everything clear but Nain was not ready to hear anything.

" You broke my heart! I was not expecting this from you. How could you do that to me?"

Kelly tried hard but Nain was not ready to hear anything, so she returned home with tears in her eyes. A few days passed, and Kelly tried very hard to clear out the misunderstanding, but every time something happened, which made the condition even worse. There was someone, who was creating such misunderstandings between them. So finally their relationship comes to an end.

They left each other and never met for three years. Kelly got a job and she kept herself busy in her life. She tried hard, but couldn't forget Nain as he was her true love. Nain was engaged again with his cousin as his mother wanted him to live a happy life with his partner. But Nain couldn't make it to marriage because his inner self was still missing Kelly as she was his first love.

On the other hand, Kelly's friend (Farina) got a serious illness. She was admitted to the hospital and doctors diagnosed her a cancer. She got many treatments but there was no hope of life as the cancer was at its last stage. One day, Kelly went to meet Farina at the hospital. Her condition was not good. She started crying and was begging her to forgive her. Kelly was unable to understand why she was asking forgiveness. Farina asked her to call Nain, as she wanted to meet him for the last time. At first, Kelly hesitated, but after seeing her condition she called him to hospital.

When Nain entered the room, Farina was lying on the bed helplessly. Nain was shocked to see her in this situation, but before he could say anything, Farina said,

" This is the Karma! I received what I saw. Please forgive me!"

Nain and Kelly looked at each other and they were unable to understand what she was trying to say. She further confessed,

"I was the one, who cut up your dress, I was the one who placed an empty box there and so many other things I did to make you both separated. I was jealous of the way you both loved each other. I couldn't bear to see you both happy. So I did everything possible to make you separated...Please forgive me!"

These were her last words and she sighed her last breath. This confession was shocking for Nain and Kelly and they were crying badly. They were not expecting this from their close friend, but the good thing was that the misunderstanding was being cleared. Nain headed towards Kelly,

"I am sorry my love, I should have believed you! Please forgive me! I want you back in my life."

Kelly also forgave him and they both hugged each other and decided to get married.
