Sailing through troubled waters has been lately(years latley) a common thing about life in this country. Some basic and some not that basic elements of survival tests have been applied to our existence to overcome and when one thinks the environment can't get any complexer, well, then it does. Just like a saying goes..."it always can get worser". Well it fucken does every time.

No, I'm not upset, not now anyway.

The header term is one I wasn't familiar with (of course not, I'm not an english speaker citizen) and came to me one of these days in a comment interchange. I liked it as it made me reflect for a moment

Though I know a bit of english, this place (Hive) has been instructive for me in that sense. To say the truth my english was mired in the 90s, one update here and there throughout music and some film or serie. But it's been a long since time and electricity don't allow me to spend a while watching those. So, here I've been able to make some updates to my english and aditions to my vocabulary as well. Thank you english-speakers-users-that-right-so-nice I follow.

Moving on

I liked this term when read it at the comment cause I deduced that it came from the phrase "go and get it" which I also happen to like, plus, another comment followed in which in a few accurate words the english speaker user explained to me what the term meant, what was used for in his country and other english speaking ones and finally told me that being said that is a compliment there as well.

So, we, spanish speakers have some other terms that mean mostly the same, but I like this one and it's where I'll focus now.

Not that I'll be giving a concept now cause I'm not qualified for that, I'll just quote his words and add what my own reflection after his words led.

A go-getter works hard, has persistence and drive, doesn't quit when things het tough, has endurance and determination, and a go-getter takes ownership. To be called a go-getter in my country and most english speaking-countries is a compliment. So, if you can be one it's a good thing.

Accurate right?

So, over hard times we have lived( fucken hard if am allowed to underline) I have shown some weaknesses and vulnerabilities in the path of, without knowing I wanted to (now I know I want to), becoming a go-getter. Some essential requirments gathered in those accurate words up there are still missing, some others are in here though. I've failed a lot, still I haven't stopped struggling and trying to move on towards improvement and some important achivements I consider necessary to live a better life and experience fulfillment. I haven't succeeded in all my goals but I've done it in some others. I'm still trying to manage and overcome some issues that hold me back, but I haven't given up, so, I feel a might get to be a go-getter , actually I guess I'm one in gestation that stills need some go-getters requirements achieved, but hey, I'm on it, cause go-getting isn't easy but also not impossible, besides, being a go-getter do really is a good thing once you give it a deep thought.
