Weather in Cairo
One of the better photos I have taken recently. The past few days in Egypt have seen weather unlike I have seen in near on 11 years in Cairo.
Torrential downpours. Dust storms with very limited visibilty. High winds.
Schools have been cancelled at short notice today.
Please note I am not a photographer.
Some of the unedited images.
I remember as the weather crept in a level of excitement and the positioning of the storm was perfect. My daughter and I watched for around 20 minutes as it rained, the winds picked up. Howling wind and lashing rain continued for around 40 minutes before the flash.
A short wait.
A crash.
The torrential downpour here in sunny Egypt. A far cry from the usual.
Any tips or feedback you have on the photographs welcomed. I rarely take photos and even more rarely share them.
Stay safe all
(I will add a pin location shortly- apologies community mods)
