5 Minute Freewrite - Weak Bond
All, doing a 5 minute freewrite. Thank you for reading.
In the workplace, in order for the team to work closely together and becoming highly productive, they must first overcome their weak bond amongst themselves. If everyone sees themselves as an individual, then the outcome of their work will end up being individual pieces of work. There will be no integration, no multiplier effect and most likely work becomes repetitive.
The solution to this will be to improve the bonds and also help them get more engaged with one another, with their supervisors and other colleagues within the company. This will foster stronger bonds within the team, make them watch out for one another, understand how their efforts can elevate others and how to do things in cross function manner. This effort starts small but will have a strong ripple effect once people one by one get engaged, they will feel more bonded to the team and the company which will lead to a positive result of delivering work with inter department integration, multiplier effects and new challenges in their work instead of repetitive ones.
