First Frost
Hi Creative Hivers,
Just dropped this cozy yet chilly doodle for the #Elftober character design challenge, based on the First Frost prompt I wanted to capture that feeling when winter is just about to start.
This little elf is definitely feeling the cold nights, but he is prepared for it, wearing some comfy red and green star pajamas. He is looking a bit surprised, looking out of the window with those wide and goofy eyes. See those teeth through that grin. I gave him some big ears and a fluffy green bonnet to complete the bed time look.
The window sets the real vibe with this frosty night, with all the shimmering dust of the cold outside. I love how the dark window frame contrasts with the warm, glittery brown of the wall. It’s got a playful, magical vibe that really captures the spirit of Elftober.
Here are some of the images to give you an idea of how I made my drawing
I already has finished the elf drawing and decided on the outfit went right to it with no rough sketch
The elf is easy to create since I already had done some previously and here is the window that will tell about the prompt of first frost. I am thinking frosted window panes
The elf is now put in place to make him appear as if peeking through a frosted window glass.
I added some speckles to look like snow.
