Omelets are a great breakfast option and one of my favorite meals. I usually make my omelets with caramelized onions as a base. Today, I combined this onion base with grated carrots, then added other tasty ingredients that give the dish more nutrition and texture.

It's a complete meal, although if you want, you can accompany it with more protein or a simple salad. This delicious dish takes little time to prepare, and the best part is that it's not complicated to make. The only difficult part of making an omelet is flipping it over so that it comes out perfect.

• Three eggs
• One small chopped onion
• Two tablespoons of grated raw carrot
• One cabbage leaf, chopped into small pieces
• One sliced tomato
• Ground turmeric
• Black pepper
• Ground ginger
• Salt and oil.

✓ Put two tablespoons of olive oil in a non-stick frying pan, add the carrot and onion, and cook over medium heat until the vegetables are soft.

✓ Beat the eggs vigorously, then add salt, turmeric, pepper, ginger, and cabbage.

✓ Add the beaten egg mixture to the pan.

✓ Arrange the tomato slices decoratively. I placed them around the edge of the omelet, pressing each tomato slice slightly so that it sticks to the egg.
Reduce the heat to low and cover the pan until the omelet sets.

✓ Flip the omelet using a flat lid or large plate, cook on the other side for a couple of minutes, and turn off the stove.

Los omeletes son un gran desayuno, suelen ser una de mis comidas preferidas, usualmente mis omeletes tienen como base cebolla caramelizada, hoy he combinado esta base de cebolla con zanahoria rallada, luego le añadí otros ingredientes sabrosos que aportan al plato más nutrición y textura.

Es una comida completa, aunque si deseas puedes acompañarla con mas proteina o con una ensalada sencilla, toma poco tiempo hacer esta deliciosa preparación, y lo más interesante es que no es complicado de hacer, lo unico dificil de hacer un omelette es darle la vuelta y que quede perfecto.

• Tres huevos
• Una cebolla pequeña picada
• Dos cucharadas de zanahoria cruda rallada
• Una hoja de repollo picada en trocitos pequeños
• Un tomate rebanado
• Cúrcuma molida
• Pimienta negra
• Jengibre molido
• Sal y aceite.

✓ En una sartén antiadherente colocamos dos cucharadas de aceite de oliva, también colocamos la zanahoria y la cebolla, cocinamos a fuego medio hasta que ablanden los vegetales .

✓ Batir los huevos vigorosamente, a los huevos le añadimos: sal, cúrcuma, pimienta, jengibre y repollo .

✓ Añadir la mezcla de huevos batidos al sartén.

✓ Colocar el tomate de forma decorativa, yo los ubique alrededor del borde del omelette, presionamos un poco cada rueda de tomate para que se adhiera al huevo.
Colocar la estufa a fuego lento y tapar la sartén hasta que cuaje el omelette.

✓ Darle vuelta al omelette con la ayuda de una tapa lisa o un plato amplio, cocinar por el otro lado un par de minutos y apagar la estufa.

Servir y disfrutar!
