Horrible days
Hi, guys!
Thanks to our bastard neighbors, we have no light or heat in our apartment. It's 8 degrees Celsius. The dogs are constantly huddled under the blanket with me, and we're all trying to keep warm, but it's not working very well. It's really, really cold. We have to constantly drink something hot to keep from freezing. But no big deal. If those jerks think they're going to break us like that, they're sorely mistaken.
We keep working. Now I'm arranging my schedule so I have more time for work that can be done in bed. At least it's warmer that way. So the girls and I spend most of our time lying around and trying to get as much done as possible from bed. No big deal, we'll do all the work that needs to be done outside of bed later, and we'll divide it up that way.
So that's how it is for now, then we'll change the system. Ultimately, it's a certain amount of flexibility. This is also possible. Tomorrow I need to unpack the books; it's going to be quite large. Lots of books have arrived from publishers. But that's also good, it means there's a lot of work ahead. There's a lot of work right now, and it's a bit of a distraction from the horror happening around us.
I bought myself some more warm clothes; that's how we'll survive in these conditions. Sooner or later, all this will end, but for now, we just need to adapt.
Have a great day, everyone!
