Day started at bad note
Hi, guys!
Kyiv was shelled again last night. As a result, I blew myself up at four in the morning and couldn't get back to sleep. I had to go make coffee and sit down to work. I hope this will at least give me time to get more done today, even though I'm not feeling so great. But I need to make the most of what I have.
For now, we're laying in bed with the dogs. We plan to start with blog posts, then I still need to finish my textbook. After that, I'll probably read manga for reviews and then shoot them. I've received seven manga this month, so it'll take a while. But I was actually planning on spending the day exclusively on this. It's a bit annoying that they include four volumes from the same series. But I still have to shoot the reviews; the publisher expects them.
So, let's gather our thoughts and get to work. I'm going through a rather difficult time right now. In addition to the major schedule changes, some old traumas have resurfaced, and they're periodically nagging at me. I'm trying to rationalize and set aside time. I'm also slowly approaching writing. For now, I'm doing it for ten minutes a day, so my brain gets used to it and doesn't get intimidated. Later, I'll gradually increase the time. But for now, it's ten minutes, just to form a habit.
With exercise, the habit formed pretty quickly, and now I'm only gradually increasing the time. Now the most important thing is to maintain it and not fall off the wagon. I still have flute practice, drawing, and dog walks to add. But these will take more time, so I'll have to wait a little while until I get used to waking up earlier. Basically, I'm already on track. Of course, going to bed at nine p.m. was a pretty extreme decision, but maybe it will work and yield good results.
The blog is also slowly gaining momentum; I've been getting a lot of advertising lately. But that's more of a good thing than a bad thing. I'm also continuing to negotiate with new publishers, so everything is moving forward gradually.
Have a great day everyone!
