Last week I received an invitation to a special event from the Women with Breast Cancer Foundation.

I didn't know exactly what we would do since we were going to the Vida Gym Spa, so I thought we would have a spa morning. But the surprise was even better. We were greeted by a beautiful, friendly mascot.

We walked across the gym to the room assigned to us. We were all over the place when we saw the trampolines.

It was my first time riding one of these, much less doing any exercises on them. The experience was fantastic. Although I never took my feet off the band, I was a little worried I might fall. The instructors explained very well that you shouldn't push off to jump, but rather apply pressure to the band as if you were trying to bring it down to the floor. When I took the reins, I did a few moves on it.

I had one of the instructors there by my side in case anything happened, and he guided me so I could gain confidence with the exercise. They're all very professional.

But the surprises didn't stop there. Suddenly, this lovely character entered, giving each of us a rose. It was a beautiful gesture from the foundation and from Vida Jump.

We also received a hydrating mask with Centella asiatica, which I will be applying this week.

So we continued exercising and having fun for a while longer. You know, when we women get together, we make a party out of nothing.

And I couldn't forget to mention Mrs. Reina, the foundation's representative who always accompanies us to our activities. She is one of the many women who has gone through breast cancer, but thank God, she is a survivor who can bear witness to what she went through. She is very kind and attentive to everything we asked her.

Pink Month ends on October 31st, so there are still activities to do. Like today's Sunday at a salon for a microblading session, but I couldn't make it. I hope to attend the 10-kilometer walk, which will take place on Sunday, October 19th, starting at 6 a.m., since I've been wanting to attend for three years and haven't been able to.

La semana pasada recibí el mensaje de invitación para una actividad especial de la Fundación de Mujeres con Cáncer de Mama.

No sabía exactamente de lo que haríamos ya que íbamos al ¨Vida Gym Spa¨, pensé que haríamos una mañana de Spa. Pero la sorpresa fue mucho mejor. En el lugar nos recibió una hermosa mascota muy amigable.

Atravesamos todo el Gym para llegar hasta la habitación que nos habían asignado a nosotras. La alegría fue grande cuando todas vimos los Trampolines.

Era la primera vez que me montaba en uno de estos y mucho menos había hecho ejercicios sobre ellos. La experiencia fue estupenda, aunque nunca despegue los pies de la liga, me dio cierto temor no me fuera a caer. Los instructores explicaron muy bien que no hay que impulsarse para saltar sino que hay que hacer presión a la liga como si quisieras llevarla hacia el piso. Cuando tomé las riendas hice algunos movimientos sobre él.

Tuve a uno de los instructores allí a mi lado por si pasaba algo y me estuvo guiando para que tomara confianza con el ejercicio. Son todos muy profesionales.

Pero las sorpresas no paraban allí. De repente entró este lindo personaje regalándonos una rosa a cada una de las asistentes. Fue un bello gesto de la fundación y de ¨Vida Jump¨.

También recibimos una mascarilla hidratante de Centella de Madagascar que me aplicaré esta misma semana.

Así continuamos ejercitándonos y divirtiéndonos un rato más, ya saben que las mujeres cuando nos reunimos hacemos de la nada una fiesta.

Y no podía dejar de mencionar a la señora Reina, quien es la representante de la fundación y siempre nos acompaña a las actividades. Una de tantas mujeres que ha pasado por el Cáncer de Mama, pero que gracias a Dios es una sobreviviente que puede dar testimonio de lo que le pasó. Muy cariñosa y muy atenta a todo lo que nosotras le preguntamos.

El Mes Rosa termina el 31 de Octubre, así que todavía hay actividades por realizar. Como la de hoy Domingo en un Salón para aplicar un Microblading, pero no pude asistir. Espero asistir a la Caminata 10 Kilómetros que se realizará el Domingo 19 de Octubre desde las 6 de la mañana ya que tengo 3 años queriendo asistir y no había podido.
