If I want to be calm, the best thing we can do is to stop fighting with what is not in your hands.

The wear and tear of wanting to control the future, others, the times, undoubtedly leaves us tired inside.

Calm often goes on one side and one goes on the other side, that is, we walk fractured. Calm comes when you learn to stand differently in front of it. It is not improvised or achieved only with willpower. You work, you train, and with emotional accompaniment, calm comes.

I am a lady of 60 and something more that I have learned to support myself without depending on anyone else and I do not expect anything from anyone because that is not my worth either and I learned that you give yourself progress as well as the strength and the will that gives us calm inside and out, to go step by step slowly, because the rush in life are not good advisors... Why? Because uncertainty not only worries and fills our heads with scenarios, which by the way, none gives us peace. Exhausting our nervous system, that is, it makes our hair stand on end, bursting our head with so many certainties that we overextend ourselves with warm cloths of things that we cannot fulfill.

We live in an "all or nothing" culture. We have become accustomed to waiting for the big event, a seismic change, that noisy fact that, supposedly, will give us back the ability to smile and “things" happen and we keep seeing the glass half empty. Why? Because we have put happiness in a waiting room, conditioning it to the “EXTRAORDINARY" happening. But in that waiting, life is escaping us and many have already escaped. Do you live each day intensely or are you on pause?

A few years ago, my last relationship taught me that the more opportunities you give someone, the less they learn to value you, because when there is no fear of losing you, there is also no care, they know that no matter what happens you will still be there, and that gives them power, that's why never put your heart in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to hold it, love yourself, choose yourself first and always remind yourself how much you are worth.

We have brilliant people, like you who read me, creating ideas but when the time comes to execute them something gets stuck, and that's not bad, to imagine, open paths, and sow possibilities.

This can be our purpose and contribution to the world. As long as there is a new day, there is a new opportunity, because having initiatives is a GIFT, but turning them into reality is a skill that is trained.
