Greetings, friends. I welcome you all to another new week. We have an exciting theme in @ladiesofhive community #contest 272, and @ifarmgirl is our judge for the week. Going with the second question: What physical activity boosts your confidence and makes you feel the happiest?

It might surprise you to learn that cooking is one activity that makes me really happy. I love and enjoy cooking a lot. I can't describe the kind of confidence I get when I'm in the kitchen, developing a new recipe out of the blues, working with ingredients to create something nice, explorations using food materials and bringing out the best in few ingredients and creating something extraordinary with it.

Cooking boosts my confidence. I feel so in charge when I'm in the kitchen with all the utensils obeying and bowing to my demands. I love how different creations can be made from the same kitchen, with the same ingredients and achieving various unique outcomes.

I'm one person that has never considered cooking to be tedious. I'm always ready and willing to take up the task when its cooking because its something I have fun doing, I enjoy everything about cooking and I always feel good and accomplished after every meal.

How often do I do it?
I cook as much as possible and sometimes it's twice a day and other times, every day or every two days. Whenever I visit a family friend, they always surrender the kitchen to me because they know that cooking would become my responsibility.

My mother misses me because I always made sure to cook something for her and package it in a special plate that keeps it warm so she can enjoy it when she returns home.

Cooking became part of me in my university days when I left home and became independent. From the hostel students noticed my love for cooking and enjoyed my meal that would contribute money and plead that I be the one to do the cooking.

I still have some old time friends that still commends me for my cooking on Facebook. Those are beautiful moments that developed the love of cooking in me till date.
